God of our salvation,
through Jesus Christ, crucified and risen,
we offer our prayers for ourselves and others.

We pray for the human family . . .
Bring us to that good and pleasant land
where kindred live together in unity.
God of our salvation, answer us with grace.

We pray for the followers of Christ
here and everywhere . . .
Make your church one in heart and soul.
God of our salvation, answer us with grace.

We pray for those who say they have no sin . . .
Free them from self-deception
and bring them to repentance.
God of our salvation, answer us with grace.

We pray for those who struggle to believe . . .
Fill them with the peace of the risen Christ.
God of our salvation, answer us with grace.

We pray for enemies
and those who would do us harm . . .
Save all your children from hardness of heart.
God of our salvation, answer us with grace.

God of our salvation,
in Christ you reach out wounded hands of grace.
Hear our prayers and, by your Spirit,
grant us life in his name.

let us offer our lives to the Lord.

Great Thanksgiving

The Lord be with you. And also with you.

Blessed are you, O Lord our God:
You established your church to testify to the power of Christ’s resurrection,
a people of one heart and soul, holding everything in common,
sharing their abundance with the poor.
Therefore we praise you, joining the song
of the universal church and the heavenly choir:
A Sanctus (“Holy, holy, holy”) is sung.

Blessed is Jesus Christ, our Savior:
With Thomas we confess that Christ Jesus is our Lord and our God!
He breathes on us with the gift of the Spirit and the power of forgiveness.
By the gift of faith we have eternal life in his name.
